On this special anniversary night, the energy of samba
Held on August 8, 2026, at AkabaneReNY alpha in Tokyo,
"Super! Haibazu 5th Anniversary Festival - Japan Howling Project -".
Five dancers from SOU AZUL performed on the important milestone stage celebrating Highspec Ba【Z∞】Ka's 5th anniversary. We researched the artist's video and music provided in advance and cast members who matched the members' image.
From the middle of the song, changing the atmosphere of the venue
In this performance, SOU AZUL dancers appeared from the middle of the song.
During the instrumental break, each dancer performed freely, utilizing the samba rhythm.
After that, they joined the members of Highspec Ba【Z∞】Ka for choreography focused on hand movements.
While weaving samba into the live performance's world, they stayed in rhythm with the members until the end, livening up the entire stage.
Not presenting samba as a standalone show, but naturally integrating it into the artist's music and performance.
We challenged ourselves with this way of using samba on this stage.
Performance incorporating elements of "Samba de Janeiro"
During advance consultations for the performance, a choreography proposal was made that incorporated the theme of "Samba de Janeiro" into the instrumental break.
Combining the momentum and festive feeling of Highspec Ba【Z∞】Ka's live performance with the exhilaration of samba, a special stage unique to the 5th-anniversary festival was created.
By leaving room for free dance in addition to set choreography, we also valued the live feel characteristic of samba.
A new way to present samba created by five next-generation dancers
The performers this time were five next-generation dancers from SOU AZUL.
While samba often brings to mind large bateria or vibrant parades, this time it was a compact unit of just dancers.
Incorporating samba into a part of the song.
Dancing choreography with the artist.
Expressing freely according to the live performance's world.
In this format, samba can be incorporated into various stages, such as idol concerts and artist performances.
Valuing not just the performance, but the event itself
We entered the venue at 12:00 on the day.
メイクや準備を行い、14時からサウンドチェックとリハーサル、本番は17時からのイベント内で出演しました。
イベント終了後、主催者からはパフォーマンスについてのお礼とともに、楽屋をきれいに使用していたことについても嬉しい言葉をいただきました。
ステージ上の数分間だけではなく、入りから撤収まで含めてひとつの現場。
SOU AZULでは、出演者としてのパフォーマンスだけでなく、一緒にイベントをつくるチームの一員として現場に関わることも大切にしています。
5周年の記念祭を、さらに熱く
5年間活動を続けてきたHighspec Ba【Z∞】Kaの記念すべき一日。
その大切なステージに、サンバという形で関わることができました。
アーティストの世界観とサンバ。
一見異なるように見えるものも、ライブという空間ではひとつの熱狂に変わっていきます。
5周年、本当におめでとうございます。
