Records of Samba shows, events, and community carnivals that SOU AZUL has been involved in since 2018.
Since 2026, we have also been counting carnivals created by partner teams.

"Carnival" is a space where people gather beyond differences,
create together, rejoice together,
and take back vitality for tomorrow.

Samba is one means to that end.
Whether it's a Samba show, an event,
a workshop,
or an educational program,
everything is a method for "creating a carnival."

*In the 1000 CARNIVALS PROJECT, we call a space where people gather, create together, and rejoice together a "carnival."
Currently, we record events, workshops, school classes, community projects, and corporate programs in which [Company Name] has been involved through performance, planning, operation, instruction, or casting, as one carnival. We only count spaces where the participants and audience shared the space.

なぜ、カーニバルを社会につくるのか。

私はブラジルでの活動を通じて、音楽や踊りは単なる娯楽ではなく、 人と人をつなぎ、場の空気を変え、明日への活力を生み出す力を持っていると実感してきました。

SOU AZULが目指しているのは、サンバを披露することだけではありません。 企業、地域、学校、イベントの現場に、人が違いを越えて集まり、 一緒に創り、一緒に喜ぶ「カーニバル」をつくることです。

1000 CARNIVALS PROJECTは、1000回イベントを行うことではなく、 1000の「人がつながる場」を社会に育てていくプロジェクトです。
