Overview
An opening act by 32 samba dancers was performed at "Marvelous 10th Anniversary Event" held at Yokohama BUNTAI.
The venue was colorfully decorated before the match, and by sharing the same space, the athletes, spectators, and performers created an atmosphere of excitement and unity befitting the start of the anniversary event.
SOU AZUL's Involvement
SOU AZUL was in charge of the overall direction and production of the opening act.
Leveraging the characteristics of the large venue, Yokohama BUNTAI, we designed everything from the view from the audience seats and the flow of movement to the music composition and formations. Anticipation built before the match, creating an atmosphere that naturally led into the subsequent event.
What was born from this event
32 samba dancers gathered on one stage, creating a special time where the entire venue was enveloped in the rhythm of samba.
Audience's clapping and cheers spread naturally, raising the energy of the entire venue before the match began, creating a festive space where sports events and live performances merged.
This CARNIVAL functioned not just as a "show to watch," but as a production that created the atmosphere for the entire venue.
